Performance

The Equinox is fun to drive with smooth handling and good fuel economy. Its turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine (170 horsepower, 203 lb-ft of torque) gives you enough power to get around town, and optional all-wheel-drive lets you handle all kinds of weather.

The small engine Equinox stands apart with its excellent fuel economy. With FWD, the EPA estimates you will get 26 MPG in the city, 31 MPG on the highways. If you opt for AWD, your mpg drops to 25 city and 30 highway.

Interior

The Equinox seats five comfortably with great support for long drives. The cabin is roomy, with plenty of passenger seating and lots of space between rows.

The trunk volume totals 29.9 cu ft. with 63.9 cu ft of cargo space with the rear seats folded down. There’s also a large center console storage bin to house your small items.

Infotainment

Want great entertainment? Then you won’t be disappointed with Equinox’s infotainment system and its easy-to-use touchscreen. The LS, LT, and RS sport a 7-inch screen, while the 8-in.-diameter screen is standard on  Premier. Built-in navigation is also available on LT, RS, and Premier.

Don’t worry about losing your internet connection and purchase the available WiFi hotspot. If you opt for the Premier model, you’ll also have a wireless charging pad and a 120 Volt outlet!

Safety

The Equinox offers a complete lineup of safety features with Chevy Safety Assist. These driver-assist features are now standard and include Automatic Emergency Braking, Following Distance Indicator, Forward Collision Alert, Front Pedestrian Braking, and Lane Keep Assist.
