Benefits of a CARFAX Report

A CARFAX® report provides a comprehensive overview of the entire history of a used or pre-owned vehicle, including accidents and warranty coverage, making it an extremely useful tool in your car buying journey. At James Martin Chevrolet, we have an extensive catalog of CARFAX used cars available, and are happy to go over this report and its benefits with you.
What’s Included in a CARFAX® Report?
Select used vehicles from our Chevy dealership come with a free CARFAX Vehicle History Report™, which contains heaps of useful information about your vehicle’s ownership history, including the year the vehicle was purchased, how many owners the vehicle has had, and the estimated length of ownership. The CARFAX Vehicle History Report also details odometer readings, reported accidents or damages, any history of structural damage, and manufacturer recalls for that particular model. It even tells you how many times the vehicle was serviced, the exact date the service took place, and what type of service the vehicle received.
This data provides important knowledge to help you make an informed purchasing decision, so you know that you’re getting a quality vehicle and not a lemon that won’t make it back home.
Certified Pre-Owned Chevrolet Vehicles
In addition to our awesome inventory of used cars, we also offer an incredible lineup of Chevrolet certified pre-owned vehicles, all of which include a CARFAX report — many of them with only one previous owner — along with a host of other benefits that come with their CPO title. All our certified pre-owned vehicles are required to be less than six years old, have fewer than 75,000 miles, and must have a clean title.
