I understand that the facility is busy. I decided to trust the dealership. I'm so used to my other dealership being a little cheaper, and them speaking with me after they are finished with the oil change service. I also wonder if they are rotating my tires every time I go there. I don't believe the tires need to be rotated that frequently. They mark yellow areas on the paperwork and don't give me an estimate about how long I have until those concerns have to be addressed.

I went in for an oil change and the cap was not put back on. I noticed oil was leaking because there was oil in my driveway. I had to take it back to the dealership again only to wait another two more hours with no compensation for my time

Cashing out was a challenge, cashier disspeared for a while...but no biggy. Calls back once the car is completed is not as consistent as usual. I had to call. Petty complaints but I always purchase my cars from James Martin. Close to my work and house. Mark Piccollo is the best salesman!

I was told one price over the phone when THEY called me to schedule an appointment, I came on time my appt was 11 I was there until 2! And when they rotated my tires they didn’t set it back so the (light) was on so when I told them they said something was broken but it wasn’t! I went to Belle tire the NEXT day and they said nothing was wrong it just needed to be set back! I will not be back to this dealership again

WOW! What a great experience! Started off a bit shaky, but everything turned out to be one of the best car buying experiences! I have worked at several Dealerships in the Metro area and have never gotten this kind of service even as an employee! Paul, the finance manager was top notch! I explained what I needed and he went over and above to make sure I was given a fair deal. He did everything in his power to make it happen. I purchased a used Equinox. Within the first week, I noticed an oil leak. Without hesitation, it was taken care of. Not only was it fixed the same day, Paul made sure I was given a loaner to get things done while my car was being serviced. Rona in the service department was very friendly, professional and on top of things! Each time I came to the dealership, I was greeted with a smile from everyone. They even remembered me! OUTSTANDING customer service!

Mr. Watson, Thank you for providing a survey to let me know about your service experience. Although I understand that the need for your vehicle to be repaired in a timely manner, we do need to schedule appointments for our main shop based on the volume of vehicle that are being serviced. I do understand that we did work your vehicle in for your oil change and filter service, but the check engine lamp would need to be seen by a certified technician. At this current time, we are scheduling about a week out. If your advisor did not make you aware of this at time of write up, I do apologize for the lack of communication and will speak to him. If you wish to set up an appointment for servicing your check engine lamp, I would be more than happy to schedule that. Please be advised that with the column of vehicles we have that time is an approximation of shop availability and no guarantee that service will be completed same day as we are not sure of what the needed repairs will be until it has been properly diagnosed by the technician. I also see you had requested to have your fluid level checked. Your transmission is a sealed system that is recommended to be replaced every 45K- at that time we can check the level it will save you an out-of-pocket expense to have the fluid level checked. There were no loaner vehicles, they took my plate holder off my vehicle without my permission and switched it to a James Martin holder and I didn’t get my vehicle from this location, when leaving they gave me keys to someone else’s vehicle. I was asked to pay for the parts ($7,000) before they were ordered. The mechanic was great, but management was an all or nothing approach. They said a sign was posted by the cashier, but it was not and even of it had been I never went to the cashier until I picked up my car and paid. I had it towed to another dealership that did not require a $7,000 deposit to order my new engine. I will not go back even though they are located across the street from my office.

I am writing to formally express my disappointment with the service I experienced during my recent visit to your dealership. I had an appointment and checked in at 11:20 a.m., yet I did not receive my vehicle until after 2:30 p.m. When I inquired about the delay, I was informed that my vehicle had been ready, but no one had told me. A staff member even stated, “Nobody told you your car was ready.” To sit in the dealership for over three hours without any communication or apology is both unacceptable and unprofessional. At no point did anyone acknowledge the inconvenience I experienced. Unfortunately, I also learned that I was not the only customer left waiting for hours, unaware that their vehicle was ready. This experience reflects inferior customer service and left me feeling frustrated and undervalued as a customer.

They didn't inspect the vehicle and lied about it. Came in with a soft tire with a hazard light on the display, which is impossible to miss if you actually look at the car. Specifically asked about the tires while paying, drive out and within a minute get the alert pops back up. Head back and they lied to my face and wasted my time, and made me late to a very important meeting for work. One of the worst experiences I've had a business in my life. Was truly stunned.

I sent in a review before, details... my purchase was a 2026 Equinox it had 239 miles on it which was a concern being I came in to buy new. Sat down with reporting to collect all info,he told me the sale went through. At time of signing I noticed an as is document financial rep told me it was just the dealers part and moved me to a pay for myself service plan. Which I signed as well adding to the cost. My concern is how I can be sold a 2026 model and not have a warranty. Or sold as is.

I brought my car in for a tire change. I was told that the antifreeze was leaking into oil causing a problem. I didn't have any warnings from my Chevy 2025. I was told not to drive it. They would keep my car for repair. It was still under warranty. They gave a Equinox 2026 which was electric on Friday. The car must be charged everyday. It cost me about $100 for about four days. It was an inconvenience for me. I talked to a manager and told them I couldn't afford to keep the car and they would guarantee by Wednesday or Thursday to have a gas car. I received a call Wednesday and was told my car is ready for pickup. I called after I got my car because it seems it was shaking and a brake sound. I called and told to bring it in. I did and they took it for a test drive. They found it was ok. I always had excellent service from James Martin Chevrolet. I brought a Chevy Cruise and Chevy Trax. I just had my Chevy Trax since May 2025. I didn't expect any problems at the time. Just want you to know my experience. I have always had good experiences with you all .Thank you

This is the second time I have made a appointment due to your staff and emails regarding me getting a oil change. And once I get to the service desk, everyone is in scattering around like I just drop by that day and asked for a oil change. I had an appointment and the previous time, I was contact by one of their staff members to make a appointment. It was never like this before and I truly believe this may be my last time coming to get service there. They are to crowded and can not manage their schedules right with the person who is making the appointments over the phone and online appointments. I also didn't feel like a value customer, as this is where i gotten my car and this is the only place that did service on my vehicle. I go in to get new tires with wheel locks on the car Dianna at James Martin quoted me for and was told it would be a few days and I was fine with leaving my car there I get there I tell the gentleman that took care of me I’m also having a problem with my traction control and would like that checked out he calls me a tells me some of my lug nuts are rusted on so I said that fine I need the tires I would buy new ones with you guys I’m not worried about the price I need it done can you call me with a price well o get a call the next day saying my car is ready o pick it up with my 6 yr old son as we are driving home I’m looking for my wheel lock key I left on the seat for them when I dropped it off so I call back to tell them I’m missing it and also was not happy I noticed my change was taken and my center council was gone through so I told the gentleman that took care of me as he took my number down to call me back but I ended going back up there thank god I did because as the service writer failed to tell me they cut off my wheel locks which is not a big deal but I would of liked to have them on and I would have pitched a new set but he failed to communicate with me and on top of that I noticed that my lung nuts all of them on the passenger side of the car were loose I took it off by hand infront of Dianna and said this is not supposed to happen I should’ve never left the shop like this when I come to get tires her response was it was only one my wheels wouldn’t of fell off I could believe it but all of them were loose as she told me to pull it in to tighten I was left sitting there waiting for my tire to get tightened up so I could leave it sat in the bay for about 30 min as the employees were outside smoking cigarettes nothing got done till I told there service writer I just worked 12 hrs and I paid for something that is not done I just want to go home after all that I’m not happy at all with the service I received and regret taking my car there I’m not ever sure if ther alignment is even done right and wind never be back I never expected to get treated like this I even left a message with a manager and still didn’t not get a call back and they didn’t not complete everything in my service request they only did the tires and never looked into the reaction control this had to be the worst experience I’m ever received deal g with a dealership I would expected it to of been more professional

There service sucks tremendously. The quality of service has gone down bad at this place. The wait time is extremely long even if you get there early in the morning. The quality of work is not all that great they take your money and do a rushed job. I had 4 supposedly brand new tires but the work you can tell was sloppy because I have this white stuff all over my tires. I waited several hours patiently only for my cap to be missing to one of my tires. I also was told one price at the beginning of service which was clarified by Dorothy only to be told a different price at the end of service. The lady Dorothy is very rude with a nasty attitude. Other customers also complained about her saying how rude she was while we sat in the waiting area. She was rolling her eyes at the end of my service and walking in and out of the office discussing the matter further with Diann. Diann comes to Dorothy defense to say it was a honest mistake. She tried to go back and forth with me so i decided to end the conversation as i see we were not going to get anywhere. I don't like nor do drauma and chaos. Thats not an honest mistake when she gave me clarification on the price. As I was leaving Diann sat in her office talking to Ericka about the situation. I will never return to James Martin because that was not my first bad experience with them but will be my last. I guess professionalism has gone down the drain.

I am extremely dissatisfied with the customer service at James Martin Chevrolet. Every time I visit, there seems to be an issue with the service department and my vehicle. On one occasion, they cracked the rim and had to replace it. Another time, they returned my car dirty. Additionally, I noticed on my receipt that I was charged for 6 quarts of engine oil when the car only holds 4.2 quarts. The mechanics also failed to check the tire pressure. At this point, I will be seeking another dealer to service my car.

James Martin Chevy did a great job of getting the oil changed and the other services completed in a timely fashion and cleaning my vehicle up. But my one complaint was that the mechanic misplaced my wheel lock and the shop manager had to do multiple searches before they were able to retrieve the correct lock. That took at an extra 10 to 15 minutes. I suggest that in the future there be a more thorough and secure system during tire rotation process. Thanks.

So he introduced me to Ryan. Ryan had already been told what I was looking at, and he didn't try to make me start the process over. I test drove 2 different vehicles, after test driving the first one Ryan made a suggestion for me to try the other one and he was right I did like th second one. But then came the figures for the car note, and to say worried would be an understatement. Ryan, I believe saw the uncertainty on my face and in my voice. Vincent Taylor was professional, however, the wait time was extremely too long for an oil change and tire rotation. Mr. Taylor told me it would take an hour and a half. I ended up being there almost 4 hours. He stated that he would not charge me for the service due to my extended wait time. I had to wait an additional 10 minutes for him to process the paperwork for my receipt. I ended up leaving because I was late to another appointment. This is the dealership from which I purchased my vehicle, but it is not close to my home. I have planned to go to a dealership near my home for the oil change, but changed my mind when I received the coupon for my birthday, which indicated I would receive a percentage off the oil change price equal to the number of years I was celebrating as a birthday. We had a oil change the man that did oil change didn’t let us know that the engine filter needed to be changed when we left there the engine light came on and said that the engine filter need to be changed we thought everything was good until the light came on The next morning my wife called back and requested to speak to the manager, her name was Diane my wife explained everything to her and she understood what had happened and she she advised my wife to bring the car back and the issues will be corrected which she did she was very nice and very professional she showed very good customer service skills however the gentleman that was helping us did not have any customer service skills because he should have came back to the waiting room and advised us that the engine filter needed to be change which he didn’t. However Diane took care of the problem. Right now I am afraid to bring my car back there or purchase a car there it’s over and the problem has been corrected. All I have to say you need more people like Diane she cares about the customer and again she has very good customer service skills.

I was not acknowledged when I pulled into the garage. The service person stood by the car but never acknowledged me stating I was looking at my phone. I looked at him at least three times waiting for him to say how can I help you or what brings you in today but noting so I sat in the car a little longer and got out and ask who should I be speaking to and they began to insinuate that I ignored the service rep. Once I was checked in, I ask for a courtesy ride up the street to a nail salon and was told the driver was at lunch. So I proceeded to walk to the nail salon because I had a 2:45 appointment. Before leaving I asked if the driver would be able to pick me up and they told me to call when ready. I called 20 minutes before I was ready and was told they would give him the message and someone should call me back. I ask would they call me either way if they were coming or not as a courtesy and was told they should. Once I finished at the salon since I hadn’t gotten a call back, I started walking back to the dealership and called while walking and was told the driver was gone for the day. I am 68 years old, a senior and have done business with James Martin for years and have never been disrespected and treated as. I was on 4/14/2026! I felt angry but didn’t blow my cool! Even the dry apology and the service person not assisting me with getting my GM rewards point credits was another sign of not providing customer service! I know now I should get some type of compensation/consideration for how I was treated while coming to have my oil change done. I am very disappointed with the service I received at James Martin Chevrolet and I have never had an experience like I had there on yesterday!

I had a 2 pm appointment for an oil change and was still told & waited over 2 1/2 hours. I was told I needed a new plug/cap because it was stripped I say okay. leave the dealership and go to my first stop and noticed a puddle of oil I say that can’t be my car leaking I go to my next stop parked for about 10 minutes went to leave and saw another puddle of oil. By this time I’m upset because I just got an oil change. I get up the next day and look there is another puddle of oil. I go back to the dealership I show Vincent the pictures he apologize then tell me to go in the waiting room. After waiting for about 2 hours Vincent comes to get me to show me the small slit/crack right by plug. I say so what are they gonna do about it because I didn’t have a slit/crack when I brought my car in yesterday if so that would had been told to me immediately when the technician started working on my car. I was quoted to fix it. It will cost $640.70 I’m on a fixed income and don’t have any spare money to fix my car. I been coming to the dealership since 2023 when I purchased my car and have not had any issues. I get my oil changed and go about my business.

Two and half hours later he showed you to service my vehicle. The service manager only took 10 dollars off my bill. My opinion should have given me free oil change for my time

I came in to get my vehicle serviced which I was advised to do by the salesman. He never stated that I would be charged for simple oil changes. Then I was asked about my wheel lock that I didn’t receive the day of purchase I was told yesterday because it’s a used vehicle that I wouldn’t receive one. How does that make sense when I can catch a flat tire and not be able to put the spare tire on without a wheel lock so yes I was dissatisfied with the experience. Communication goes a long way and they dropped the ball.
